Respawn Entertainment has confirmed that they are working on more LTMs and will test new ideas and features. Respawn has done a great job creating unique and fun LTMs for players over the years. Some, like Arenas, have become a permanent part of the game, and even the controls will be there for a long time.
However, players should understand that not all LTMs will be the mainstay of the game, some just for fun or even to try out Apex Legends features.
Two members of the Apex Legends development team spoke to The Loadout about these upcoming LTMs.
Our weapon repaints are almost complete and you still have a few days to get this skin. Will you get Fast Track Dedication, Total Eclipse Prowler and more? pic.twitter.com/xHkd05fw0Y

Talking about gameplay and changes, Evan Nikolic shared some cool ideas: “The Apex team is all about trying and trying new things. That’s why we really love creating and playing LTMs to provide a variety of player experiences throughout the season. Introduction, LTMs also offer new ways for players to hone their skills and allow us to try out new mechanics for a basic BR experience. For example, Evo Shields came from the previous LTM. We love the mechanic so much that we’ve integrated it into a core BR experience “You can expect us to keep playing LTM on Apex.”
Apex Legends Game Director Steve Ferreira added that the game will always stay true to Apex Legends while researching news and staying up to date.
It’s good to know that Respawn will continue to work on Apex Legends and won’t just focus on Apex Legends Mobile.
