The stealth-focused action-adventure 2019 A Plague Tale: Innocence wowed many gamers. The touching story of siblings Hugo and Amicia is a success, and it’s no surprise that the developers at Asobo decided to create a sequel that was announced at last year’s E3. Since then, we’ve only seen one new trailer at The Game Awards, but we still don’t have a release date. And that’s mostly still true, because officially we don’t know anything. But an old friend of the Microsoft Store intervened.
Yes, this trade has again become a source of leakage, especially its British mutation. Even more amusing is that the release date hasn’t disappeared as of this writing. But not everything is so simple, because on the page we would find out that A Plague Tale: Requiem should be released. June 17, 2021. Yes, you read that right, this is last year. So the question is whether this is just a typo or the date is completely wrong.
Also, even before this escape, there was a website called Powerpyx revealing all the trophies. At the same time, he claims that according to the PSN Store database, the title should be released May 17, 2022.
Whether any of these dates is correct, time will tell. However, in both cases, the game would have come out earlier than we might have expected. We haven’t seen much of this yet, but it may be the plan of the developers themselves not to tell us more than they’d like.
