It’s been a big year for Apex Legends so far, with Season 13: Saviors and Apex Legends Mobile rolling out in May and the series breaking the all-time personal record for most competitive players on Steam. .
That said, it looks like it won’t be slowing down anytime soon, as Respawn Entertainment has apparently been recruited for the unannounced “single-player adventure” first-person shooter set in the Apex Legends universe.

As of this writing, the Careers page on Respawn’s website has job postings for titles ranging from Apex Legends to Star Wars to Jedi: Survivor, as well as brand new anonymous IPs.
As Dexerto noticed, Respawn also seems to be looking to fill the “Apex Universe FPS Incubation” team with everything from a senior environmental artist to a senior game engineer.
The description on the Hard Surface artist listing reveals that the project is indeed “a new solo Respawn adventure.”
“This new single-player game is a developer’s dream playground, with the freedom to innovate made possible by the unique world they inhabit,” Respawn’s listing reads.
Nothing more to take at the moment, Respawn is keeping its cards close to its chest and it seems very early in the game’s development.
Working on this type of game would certainly make a lot of sense, given that Respawn hasn’t been shy about expressing interest in creating an Apex multiplayer experience on previous occasions, but the studio has yet to officially announce such a game.
