Each Heirloom has its own custom animations, but recently an Apex Legends player discovered a second animation for Valkyrie’s Heirloom.

When Valkyrie pulls out her weapon, the property staff is also removed. Typically the stick is held with two hands and when sprinting the stick is held with one hand. There is usually no animation when you pull out the wand. But there’s a weird new animation in the video above. weapon animations

As you can see, when Valkyrie picks up her staff, she does an animation that pops up while wielding a gun. After that you can see a small burst of blue and the staff retreat slightly.

In one of the comments under the Reddit video from u/Eionceal, u/Po1yphic states that the recoil is similar to the Mastiff’s weapon and the blue lights appearing are similar to the Peacekeeper.

This is a very minor detail that most people overlook at first. Without context, there seems to be a delay in Valkyrie using a gun, but her staff is out. However, the blue lights that appear after “firing” his wand indicate that this is not a bug, but an intentional stealth animation.
