A recent leak from Apex Legends suggests that a new free-for-alls game mode may be in the works.
When new game modes are added to Apex Legends, they are often greeted with applause from a dedicated community. However, many know that it is unfortunate that new game modes are often rare, not to mention the limited number of residences. A similar control recently proved popular with fans, many of whom were left disappointed the month after he left.
But when one door closes, another opens. This may be true for Apex game mods, as a recent leak suggests Respawn is working on all new free mods.
The leak comes from trusted Apex dataminer @Kralrindo on Twitter. They seem to have discovered a new mod in the files called “FreeDM” but the leak doesn’t provide much information.

The tweet read: “A new game mode called ‘FreeDM’ has been found in the files. “There’s not a lot of information at the moment, but ‘Murder spray’ sounds interesting.”
The files contain several phrases that appear to be related to the new game mode, such as “Score Incident”, “Murder Missing”, and “Score Meaning”.
Given how popular LTMs have been in the past, it’s no surprise that Respawn is working on its next event. It is, of course, a way to keep things fresh.
However, some fans seem less enthusiastic about the idea. Instead, some wanted Respawn to take the time to polish their home game. “I would rather they fix a normal game before adding any other mods,” said one user.
However, at this point, this leak is largely speculative. Until there is official news from Respawn, players will have to take their time.
