Apex Legends players are urging Respawn to change the weapon set for Season 13 and have a few favorites return as loot.
Some might say the Apex can only win with proficiency, but a good gun really goes a long way. While everyone has their favorites, some weapons are more fun than others. It was the subject of much discussion with fans during the recent airing of Season 13.
Reddit user KananStarks made a public statement saying the game would be “more fun” if weapons like the Volt and G7 were returned as Earth loot.
In the post, “Why did they buy these guns? Everyone loved them. No one really uses energy weapons anymore, and the R-301 is at the craftsman, so the only real light weapon on the ground is the R99.
“Why are they buying the funniest and most popular weapons outside of the wing?”
The post, which has received more than 2,1,000 votes at the time of writing, quickly garnered support from like-minded people. One user said, “Volt needs to come back to balance the power pool. Running Hawok/Devot now is risky as you probably won’t be able to find combat units.
Others say how much they miss Volt.
It’s a difficult balance. On the one hand, Respawn wants to protect its playerbase with content weapons they know and love. On the other hand, if players yearn for the same arsenal every time, the game might ruin it.
Overall, the Season 13 returns seem mixed so far. But it’s too early. Respawn will no doubt take player feedback into account.
