Movies starring Chris Evans aren’t exempt from script problems, either.
The Captain America saga is the most beloved of UCM and practically superhero cinema. For this very reason, plot inconsistencies will be addressed. At times it is helpful to demystify and understand that they are far from bulletproof scenarios.
Again, trigger alert: Understand the gaps as the narrative problems that the epic has in both the UCM and all and in its own internal coherence: Here are the 10 biggest inconsistencies:
10. Red Skull Mask
Everyone loves a dramatic statement. But it makes no sense for a character as pragmatic as Schmidt to wear a mask to hide his monstrous features when everyone knows who he is. Of course she looks gorgeous when she takes off Hugo Weaving’s mask† But it would be better if he indulged a little.
9. Tesseract Ex Machina
At the end of the movie, the Red Skull is magically transported to another planet because it crashes into the Tesseract and goes crazy. All the elements were already there, and it is clear that the Tesseract is an undeniable weapon of power.
But it’s being used to manipulate the bad guy in a way that hasn’t been presented before. Since when can you open a portal that takes you to every corner of the universe? He can do that, but we’ve seen in this movie that he only does it when war has to be fought. It’s a bit like “a magician did it”.
8. Why do they find him starting to collect the Avengers?
El Capi is in the North Pole with a bomb-laden ship that isn’t exactly small during World War II. World War II falls. And was it thrown from the 1940s to 2012 before anyone could find it? It also appears when Nick Fury decides to start a team. Neither before nor after.
Weren’t scanners invented to search the area? Back then, Google Maps already existed. If they can give you a reason why they can’t (or don’t want to) find it, that might be interesting. But it didn’t bother them.

Fury is a spy nobody trusts. But who entrusts secrets to the main character and wrongly supports the villain of the role, Alexander Pierce?† The treatment of the character in The Winter Soldier is contradictory to say the least.
And that’s because he’s working with God and the devil and doing one thing and saying the opposite. It can be said that it is to play without knowledge and test its employees. But then it 100% depends on how well the movie ends.
5. What about Peggy’s husband?
Peggy mentions a husband in her Captain America memorial video. Do you know anything about him? There is no editor. It doesn’t make much sense if you do it so you don’t bring it up again.
Especially if they release a series like this after a short while. Agent Carter that you have an open relationship with another character (not officially a spouse). Here’s a story to tell.

Zemo is an evil genius and part-time party animal. But in Civil war He is the man behind the curtain. A villain that works wonderfully on a dramatic level, and therefore a classic plot. Now works best when range is limited to what they can control.
If he portrays himself as someone who constantly controls the characters and moves them like chess pieces according to his interests, he shouldn’t be dependent on what happens by chance. Is it believable that Zemo fully reads all of Cap and Stark’s moves? If he infiltrates the base and pretends to be the psychologist tasked with interrogating the world’s most dangerous terrorist, will he be easily let through? Did you know that Tony Stark would follow Cap to the summit? A little reluctance is welcome though.
3. Sokovia Chords
After the disastrous events of the first two phases of the ICC, the government decides that superheroes should be officers only. It wouldn’t be bad if it weren’t for a completely unrealizable utopia. That’s why these similarities, which have caused such a split in the superhero community, are at least loosely applied.
Except for a few brief references, it had no real impact on the lives of the protagonists. No one complained when Thanos caused monumental destruction in Endgame, no international conflict when Europe was attacked by Mysterio and Spider-Man intervened, not even a sad fine when Eternals nearly brought the end of civilization. Did someone say social corruption?
2. Bucky’s Cube
Hydra’s killer, Bucky, has frozen most of his life. And he’s been brainwashed. And after the Winter Soldier, he manages to unravel his identity. In civil war, He is accused of murders he did not commit. She manages to find out who is behind it all and will apparently rekindle her friendship with her lifelong friend (and several lives). And what does he decide to do?
So freeze again. He ain’t got no run ’cause he’s on the post-credits scene Black Panther He is seen walking around as if nothing had happened, which goes against his character. Shouldn’t he associate Freezing with Hydra with his dark past? It should have been enough for them to be refugees in Wakanda…
1. Someone explain to me what Sin Bandera does
Falcon and The Winter Soldier presented some of their rivals who weren’t quite clear on what they wanted. A violently flagless world? Isn’t the result a strengthening of countries? Other than that, their attacks don’t make much sense.
They’re hiring a vaccine truck (renamed), planting bombs here and there… Pretty good so far. But then they expose themselves for free, have a meeting that is later ignored at the climax, and claim they are doing the right thing even if their methods are brutal… Could you explain your principles a little bit?
Bonus Ball:
When did Stark and Cap become friends? Colleagues, like most. However, there was no real close relationship between the two as the civil war divisions had so much influence…
And that’s it. In the future comes the first movie where Falcon takes the mantle. We’ll see if the franchise flies high. And if it beats its predecessor, which is honestly the best trilogy in the MCU. Just gorgeous.
