Starfield and its music are discussed in the latest dev diary for Bethesda’s space RPG
The ins and outs of the game’s composition and music mark the third part of Into the Starfield.
Starfield demonstrates its claim in all areas, including its sound department and music. To show how serious they are along this line, the Bethesda team has seen fit to let us see a discussion between them. Mark Lampert and Inon ZurSound director and composer for the space exploration RPG for PC and Xbox Series.
For six minutes, they both explain the working processes for The Elder Scrolls developers’ new IP and look at some of their most memorable work with the American company. “With Starfield, I always think of the ‘holy trinity’. I mean: everything flows, right? Everything changes and everything comes back,” explains Zur. “We must complete the task, we must complete our journey. We will find and discover something, we will take it home,” says the musician, delving into how his music was created.
