Take-Two Interactive updated sales figures for previously released games as part of its financial results for the latest quarter. In this regard, the western Red Dead Redemption 2 has attracted attention, which since its release in 2018 has already sold 79 million copies.
This makes it the most successful game in the last seven years and historically fourth best-selling game of all time. Most recently, this Rockstar hit surpassed Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (78 million copies) and PUBG: Battlegrounds (75 million copies).
Sports is now in potential danger feat Wii Sportswhich has a circulation of almost 83 million copies. Conversely, Minecraft (350 million copies) and Grand Theft Auto V (220 million copies) continue to hold the top two positions on the historical charts.
In connection with Red Dead Redemption 2, there have also been rumors for a long time about possible appearance of native versions for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch 2 consoles, with the potential release of which the total number of copies sold could jump quite significantly.
