There have been hints of a mysterious new currency called Hearthsteel, which could be tied to the long-awaited housing system.
Blizzard hasn’t officially confirmed anything yet, but judging by the latest leaks from the beta World of Warcraft: Midnight the game now displays graphic elements Shiny Firesteel Coins – separately, in stacks and chests.
The symbol on the coins corresponds to the new icon. Player body system, which will appear on December 2 as part of patch 11.2.7.
Fans suggest that the coin Hot steel could function as premium currency looks like Platinum V Diablo 4 or Overwatch Coins. With its help, you can, for example, buy special decorations or improve players’ homes, which Blizzard is going to offer in the in-game store.
However, it is unclear whether this will be a purely paid currency or something that can be obtained by playing. Previously, Blizzard promised that the “vast majority” of Housing items would be available directly in the game.
