I personally tried out the app and if I wanted to buy a specific game, the good thing is that it has all the description, images and some additional information including the price, but I was still redirected to the site to make the purchase. After pressing the button it redirected to Nintendo’s site where you can complete the transaction, so it actually acts as a gateway rather than a full-fledged shopping app. Perhaps this will change over time.
