DOSBox Pure was originally just a frontend kernel. RetroArch (for example, it also works on mobile phones), but is now released as a fully functional standalone application for Windows, macOS and Linux.
This emulator allows you to easily download ZIP files, disk images, EXE files – no need for complex “config editing”, no need to know what ISO mounting is (with tears in our eyes and memories in our hearts, we welcome Daemon Tools Lite).
It offers modern features: drivers, save states, CRT filter, automatic button mapping – a convenient way to remember the DOS classics.
