All eyes of Capcom action fans are now on Resident Evil: Requiem. However, behind the scenes there is talk of another project that has been speculated about for a long time. Remake of Resident Evil 0.
According to reliable sources from the MP1st editors, it has been in development for a long time under the code name Chamber (a funny allusion to the surname of the main character Rebecca Chambers) and should represent something more than just a visual upgrade.
Capcom is reportedly betting on complete remake of the main charactersi.e. not only for new stunt doubles, but also for motion capture actors. Filming is being carried out by the Canadian studio Beyond Capture Studios, which previously worked on Resident Evil 4 Remake or Street Fighter 6. The cast should appear John McLarenknown as the voice of Star-Lord from the live-action adaptation of Guardians of the Galaxy. In his case, he is expected to play Billy Cohen, another character from the original title. McLaren’s biography lists Chamber as an upcoming AAA title.
According to insiders, the remake of Resident Evil 0 will be voiced same basic story, but in a much broader and cinematic form. It is said that the developers will expand the opening scene on the luxury train, which will also feature the character of the conductor, who was only mentioned in dialogue in the original game. This time he will get more space. But I’d rather put it in a spoiler.
The conductor must first ask Rebecca to help stop the train, and then betray her and leave her to be torn apart by zombies. He reappears later in the game, along with a new mysterious character who plays a vital role in Umbrella’s story.
