Franchise Manager Assassin’s Creed Marc-Alexis Côté is leaving Ubisoft after more than twenty years. The news comes shortly after the brand came under the control of Vantage Studios, a newly created subsidiary of Ubisoft in which Chinese tech giant Tencent owns a quarter of the shares. According to internal reports, Cote received an offer to join the management of Vantage Studios, but rejected it. After a company restructuring, he decided to leave Ubisoft and pursue a different career path.
