Rumors about a new generation of consoles will not subside and now we have fresh information about the processor AMD Magnusit’s driving a new one Xbox. Apparently, this will be a really powerful device. But it won’t be cheap.
Moore’s Law Is Dead channel has uploaded a new video dedicated to the new AMD processor and provided detailed technical information. Whether they are true or not, time will tell. Based on the information available, it looks like the processor will be much more powerful than what will be in the upcoming PlayStation 6.
“This will be the largest APU used in a gaming console in history… Its total area will be approximately 408 mm2 – approximately 13% larger than the chip size of the Xbox Series X and Xbox One X. describes the channel.
“So yes, it should be stronger than the PS6, but at the same time it will be more expensive due to its larger size and use of bridge chips and likely more RAM compared to the PS6, at least if it is to function well as a hybrid PC/console.” continues.
