According to sources and journalist Tom Henderson, whose text this time is sponsored by Exputer magazine, 2K games will soon present its sports-racing variation on the popular rocket league. The project is currently named The purpose of gravity and the players don’t get behind the wheel of a car, but grab the wheel on motorcycles “like from the Throne”.
The core of the game should be the same as in Rocket League. Kick the ball into the opponent’s goal. In addition, Gravity Goal should have discs that can be thrown at the enemy and deal damage to him. The photos, which Henderson is supposed to have in his possession (but won’t release), show the discs looking like “LED buds,” he said. Vehicles will slow down or come to a complete stop after being hit, and damage dealt must be calculated based on both the rate of fire and the speed of the downed motorcycle.
The game is to be designed in bright colors and “energetic moods” in the style of Tron. Closed alpha testing is said to have taken place last year, so Henderson believes the announcement will be made in the coming months. Players must wait PC, Xbox Series X and S and Game console 5.
Company Take-Two interactivewhich also includes 2K Games, says it has less than a hundred games in development, with 62 of them scheduled to release by April 2024. There are expected to be 26 free games, and Gravity Goal could be one of them.
