Slovak team of three Lich Studios revealed the first information and pictures from the upcoming multiplayer real-time strategy game Cold engines. The goal of the game will be to survive in harsh frosty conditions and defeat the enemy.
“You will command a small group of survivors, build a base where they can take shelter from the winter and refuel their tanks. You will send cleaning machines to bring frozen or damaged debris to your base for resources, ”the developers of the game’s basic mechanics describe on their website.
The pictures are presented with a steampunk stylization, or rather diesel punk, which is reminiscent of the Polish Iron Harvest games and combined with the frosty landscape of Frostpunk.
We will be able to play as two factions, of course there are improvements to units and buildings. Cold engines went to PC AT 2023 and developers are tempted to add the game to the Steam wishlist.
