NZXT After we decided to broaden our horizons, we realized that the American company, known for its homes all over the world, recently launched the interesting modular Function keyboard, as well as ultra light gaming mouseTo pick up.
The two products are the opposite: On the one hand, if we looked for the extreme characterization associated with a lot of customization and different form factors, there are different aesthetic options with the mouse on the official website, but the device itself is surprisingly “normal”. ” path.
The mouse, with a light, minimal, traditional design but also good components under the body, is perhaps its biggest weakness. price A little too high for specs: you can find it on Amazon for €59.99. However, that’s only part of the story: we’ll tell you the rest below. NZXT Elevator review.
Technicial Specifications
As stated at the beginning, the Lift is a gaming mouse that doesn’t have much pretensions: wired with paracord cable From 2 meters, it has a very traditional design, devoid of original solutions, enriched by a discreet RGB lighting system with only two stripes at the bottom. In theory this is a versatile device, in practice the two extra buttons on the left can only be used by right-handers.
The main feature is probably weightEquivalent to 67 grams: a value that can’t compete with perforated construction solutions (see the Cooler Master MM710, review a few years ago), but is competitive when compared to similar products like the MSI Clutch GM41 Lightweight reviewed on our wireless pages. This size traditional: 127 x 67 x 38 mm.
We said that there is a very respectable component under the body of the elevator, and in fact change It is Omron with 20 million clicks, polling rate reaches 1,000 Hz and solution equates to a maximum of 16,000 dpi: nothing transcendent, but excellent features. Using the free NZXT CAM software, you can customize not only the lights, but also the four available profiles.
if we go back exactlylightingYou might not even notice, it hints at an effect reminiscent of neons under modified cars, but not so many presets and combinations. Perhaps without this feature, the mouse would have desired a more comprehensive price range, but it is also true that it would be even more anonymous from an aesthetic point of view.

Design
By now you will understand: design Aesthetically, it does not represent the power of Lift, which resembles dozens of mice. The model presented to us for our review is white in color and has an extremely fine-grained matte finish, but is able to provide a good grip on the palm and fingers: an important detail to prevent the device from taking off too quickly. His movements saw his extremely low weight.
Two buttons on the left the scroll bar and dpi selector are black, but it is possible to customize it as stated on the NZXT official website.aesthetic To give the device extra character by completely changing the main (white or black) and secondary tones (blue, cyan, violet, red, yellow). The two RGB LED strips we mentioned earlier don’t add much to the final result.
user experience
We used the NZXT Lift with other devices for a few days, which allowed us to do all the comparisons of the case and see the comfortable, pleasant, very light but at the same time the aforementioned “normality” of this mouse. it is similar to many other products that are often sold at lower prices: it is not an advantage for a brand in the first experience with this particular segment.
Frankly, we found ourselves better off in normal use between office, web browsing, and a pinch of photo editing rather than gaming. Lifting performance average, also equipment in terms of extra buttons and storable profiles. Definitely not a mouse for MOBA or MMORPG, but it does its job with shooters.
We tested it with the usual competitive shooters: Apex Legends (review), Call of Duty: Warzone (review) and Halo Infinite’s multiplayer sector (review) with a few games, but also a reunion. post-script Days Gone apocalyptic (review).
In all cases the device performed well, offering solid and precise support, quick access to (few) functions available, and good responsiveness, although the scrollbar was not very smooth.
