Russian players will not get to the official website of the game STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl. According to RIA Novosti, the site was blocked by the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation, most likely due to the fact that posted a banner calling to support Ukraine.
Stalker 2 is being developed in a Ukrainian studio GSC game world, which had previously condemned the Russian invasion of Ukraine and ceased operations in Russia in March. Stalker 2 should not be sold in Russia at all.
At the same time, my company from Kyiv move to Prague, where he wants to finish the post-apocalyptic action, and then move on to the Cossacks strategy. According to Pavel Dobrovsky, GSC Game World has offices in Vyshegrad, but works slowly because all the equipment is left in Kyiv.
While Stalker 2 hasn’t been officially ported yet, it’s somewhat unlikely that it will actually release on December 6 this year on PC and Xbox Series X/S. It must be listed in Game Pass on the day of issue.
As for the GSC people, they have offices in Vysehrad in Prague and they start working on Monday. The launch will be slower, most of the equipment (computers, etc.) had to be left in Kyiv. And they are actively looking for housing, so if you know something, write.
