Women have just finished the World Cup, and what is interested in our country, the World Cup, is also almost around the corner. And now EA has added NHL 25 to EA Play. So, we thought that this is the perfect time to evaluate the last NHL … Is this the right continuation, or is it just another copy of the previous episode? Let’s look at it together.
NHL 25 is really special this year. As one of the first sports games forever, he leaves the old generation console and only goes on to the present. Players of old equipment probably cry, but for others this is a chance to rejoice. In the end, it was free from the eldest consoles for more than ten years to get benefits. NHL 25 had a unique chance to bring the long -awaited shift from the older parts and show how the next generation real sports games should look. Unfortunately, this did not require a chance. On the one hand, you will notice changes in the game, on the other hand, this is definitely not a revolution that fans not only wish, but especially after these years deserve.
But let’s start more positive. The graphics were observed in a year -on a treatment change and it can be seen mainly in the details of the T -shirt and on the faces of the players. The changes are in order, and I definitely like more attention to details. But honest? I expected more from the shift. Compared to FIFA … Pardon, EA Sports FC, you can see that the quality of processing of individual players does not reach such zeal. I think I know why. You put a helmet on a hockey player, and you will see his face, a maximum of once in the match. But the processing of even the largest stars is still behind other sports games.
Another thing that I noticed and was many of me were fans. Even how they looked or how they welcomed, all this was relatively cool. But when you score a goal and see a shot from the rostrum, their image frequency is closer to units. It is clear that at this moment you do not need to look at fans, but enjoy your goal – and at the same time gives the developers the opportunity to devote yourself to ice details – but, damn it, was it a little better?
But the fact that I can definitely thank, and most of all is a significant intervention in artificial intelligence. AI reacts more to your play style and can adapt much better. You will notice changes with both your opponents and teammates. They react much more to your real actions, and this really makes you really feel that you are not alone. This is still not perfect, and players show a little shit here and there, but how they work on ice is visible at first glance, and I definitely praise the approach in this regard. You can see an improvement in artificial intelligence in defense, when they are not purely purely pucks and how to raise it, but they block notes or try not to put you so much chance of a dangerous shot. It is so more difficult to give the goal than when, even in lower complexity settings.
Unfortunately, I still cannot praise the intellect of goalkeepers. As for the interventions, there were no problems, I would even say better than before. Then the problem can be seen in passing washers, but they do not go to the gate. They are completely inclined. And even if the goalkeeper can do without any problems for such a puck.
