I was a little afraid of the sky forever. I am not completely survival and Subnautica, with which the novelty often compares, remains in the list of my most important abilities of the game. I was pleasantly surprised when I received a more relaxed journey full of beautiful views than a brutal struggle for survival.

Although forever the sky is clearly survival, survival It moved a little to the side. Of course, your character should sleep. He must also eat and drink and should not be overflowed over the edge of the airships. You should not be stupid during the storm or climb in places that are very clearly dangerous – for example, a flock of OS. Common sense usually holds you, and any death will not in any way.

Most survival mechanics are not focused not on survival, but on advanced forward. They do not like to stay too long in one place. You would simply have exhausted resources too much. The path to the nose, or other and other exclamation signs on the radar, is accompanied by the need to adapt to it. Is the platform too high? Create a turbine that will lead you to above. The road is blocked by a giant figure? Extractor extract for biological material.

Sometimes you just stop and forget about the problems.

Although the authors who make the players make a ship and equipment, many updates are more easier. An example is one of the first devices that you probably build a boat. This is a magnet for collecting metals. Even in ten hours, you can get it manually, but a special machine is enough to provide magnets, and you will not have material for the game. In the same way, it is necessary to filter out or food in the local world. Further modifications then relate to the entire ship and cosmetic gadgets.

The construction of the ship is one of the strengths of the game. I admit that I built a practical airship with narrow corridors, a limited section of the R&D, a place to sleep and storage (which is surprisingly not enough). But this does not change the fact that with little effort there can soon be excessively toxic clouds to swim a magnificent palace or at least a rather cozy apartment. It depends only on the taste.

The pleasant moments conducted with the adjustment of the shield are supported by the building itself, which is intuitively clear and simple, leaving the players a fairly wide range of opportunities. Blocks of the boat are attached beautifully, for ordinary devices and other items you can arbitrarily turn off the magnet, it is clear where you can place the thing and where not. There are no clashes and errors that, in the end, also concerns the rest of the game, which is technically at a very high level. The availability is also reflected in the fact that the elements of the ship can be moved without a fine and even destruction, for which you get the spent raw materials.

Where to go? There will be a battery

I have already indicated that there is no shortage of raw materials. In some way, however, you should get them, and not all that is a special robot or a magic button. For copper, you just need to fly in one of the damaged wind turbines. You can make batteries, but otherwise you cannot get them in another place than in radio -workers. Both are on every corner, but also visiting these places will soon get tired. Although biomes, weather and specific places of basic tasks, landing on random islands or towers changes, they are repeated to such an extent that you will learn almost blind places over time. In addition to the survival genre, typical, but not apologizing, hard work with an extractor.

But I would already complain about the mechanics of the genre that makes it what is, and I did not like it. Manipulation with food, which still needs to be prepared and spoiled, and it is necessary to throw rotten residues, very annoying. But it is realism that makes the survival of survival, and, in addition, as I already said above, forever the sky often forgives than punishes.

If I complained about the uniformity of lateral stops, the main tasks are opposite. They will regularly take you to unique places with new problems. Whether on high towers or on the ground in a taught underestimation. There are also problems associated with limited oxygen consumption or in the form of real enemies – not necessarily as terrible as they seem to be for the first time. There is nothing wrong, but it should be a driving force for advancement, which is not, and this role should be made by the player’s desire to detect and develop his ship and opportunities in general. Despite all the survival of mechanics, trips to dangerous bicycles in the hand, extraction of materials, boat and basic design, cooking, refueling, jumping on narrow pedestrian bridges over the endless abyss … Despite the fact that all these are the most beautiful ways from nowhere. Turn on the engines, set the direction, and climb the outer deck – the largest reward for the time spent in the game. The graphics are not excellent, but the scenes are so impressive that you will be happy to forget about this sound of beautiful music and the environment. This for the lyrical plane forever the sky is their strongest part.

Verdict

The more you do not have and go into place, the more the sky can be bored forever. This is not so much about survival as on the flight to reveal the secrets of an infected country. The correct driving force will not be history, but the desire to visit new places and, above all, to optimize and improve their own airships around which the experience rotates.
