To be honest, I long ago gave up hope that the Call of Duty series could be anything other than a marketing trap. The series featured unsuccessful inventions in the form of space shootouts, as well as rethinking of previously beloved subseries, which were only buried with each subsequent part. But if there was one studio that could give me hope again, it wouldn’t be the Call of Duty series. Amenit was Treyarch. And oh, they did it again.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will introduce you one of the best and most innovative campaigns in the serieswithout losing the name of its old familiar essence. And in particular, it corrects many mistakes made in last year’s series. I never thought I’d say this again, but this really good Call of Duty.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is already the sixth part of the Black Ops subseries, which has always focused on the so-called black or classified operation. Volume 6 is certainly no exception, and its spy flavor abounds in all the traditional modes, including multiplayer and Zombies mode, but most of all the story campaign.
The title follows the events caused by the Black Ops Cold War game from 2020. Set in the early 1990s through an all-new character named Case, you learn that there is a traitor within the CIA who won’t hesitate to help a terrorist. a group called “Pantheon”. So, it’s up to you to uncover this traitor, your unit includes not only famous characters such as Captain Woods or the scandalous agent Russell Adler, but also newcomers such as Agent Troy Marshall. And, to be honest, I rather liked the whole group of more or less likeable characters. I enjoyed going on missions with them and learning more about their backstory, even though it wasn’t very deep. But this already applies to the Call of Duty series.
