If you’re keeping a list of games coming out in 2025, you might want to add a remake of the iconic RPG to it. Gothic. This was originally expected last year.
The 2025 Gothic remake was confirmed on Discord by community manager Alkimia Interactive, responding to disgruntled players who expected to play the game before the end of 2024 and were disappointed by the lack of information.
“We never told people about a 2024 release. The game will be released in 2025.” – answered the community manager. His message goes hand in hand with his social media post. The developers wished the players a happy new year and wrote that the year 2025 will be a crucial year for the Gothic 1 remake.
As we already knew, we will be playing Gothic Remake on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. It is assumed that this will be a complete redesign of the known world in a new shell. While you wait for new news, check out the first gameplay footage.
