Studio GSC Game World outlined its plans for the coming year in a short message on social networks. Its representatives named the ongoing improvement and event correction STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobylwhich received its first major update yesterday.

However, the developers also confirmed that in the foreseeable future reveals additional content schedulewhich the game should see in the coming months. In recent weeks, talk has mostly been about a couple of expansions and the addition of multiplayer. However, the developers do not forget about the collection released in March called “STALKER: Legends of the Zone”, which brought three old parts to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch consoles.

While this collection is also available to players on current-gen consoles via backwards compatibility, it does not offer any improvements. However, next year the situation should change. Studio representatives said that the collection will receive a free updatewhich will bring unspecified improvements for players on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.

In short, however, they shouldn’t stay either gamers on computerswho should also see improved versions of old games from the STALKER series. Whether this will be a free update or a release of the mentioned collection on PC is still unclear.
