The patch addresses key issues that players have been complaining about since the November release. Major changes include:

– Improvements to the A-Life system.: A-Life 2.0 is responsible for making the world of the Zone seem alive and organic, independent of the player’s actions. NPC characters, mutants or bandits move, hunt, fight each other and occupy territory. However, players criticized the system as being too “scripted”. The update improves the frequency of encounters with NPCs, their navigation, motivation to explore new territories, and active attacks.

– AI improvements: Minor improvements have been made to both NPCs and enemy AI.

– Mission fixes: Some story missions now offer better rewards, and bugs that could prevent them from being completed have been fixed.

– Performance optimization: Significant performance improvements, especially in areas with high NPC densities.

– Other fixes: Fixed an exploit with infinite money, adjusted game balance, removed crashes in the game and optimized it for more stable operation.
