This ad they were registration of new accounts has been stopped. Current players can still look forward to the third season, which will be the last. It should feature a new faction, three new weapons, three new maps, or a new game mode.

The servers will be shut down on June 3, 2025. All Ultimate Founder’s Pack owners will be refunded. A full refund will also be provided to those who purchased something through microtransactions in the last 30 days.

The reason for XDefiant’s closure is the fact that, despite a strong start, it was unable to retain enough players to remain sustainable in the long term. At Ubisoft, they created XDefiant as a major competitor to Call of Duty, which would use content from the company’s other games.

“Despite a promising start, hard work from the team, and a passionate community, we have failed to attract and retain enough players to compete in the very challenging FPS gaming market.” – said Marie-Sophie de Vaubert.
