Ukrainian studio GSC Game World has released the first major update for the game STALKER 2: The Heart of Chernobylwhich fixes over 650 bugs and introduces key improvements. Patch version 1.01 fixes a number of issues that players have encountered since release, and also adjusts the game balance. The update is available for download on both PC and Xbox Series X/S consoles and takes between 13 and 14 GB.
The patch includes a number of important changes and improvements. Fixes artificial intelligencewhere non-player characters got stuck, interfering with the passage of missions. NPCs should now move through the environment more efficiently to avoid interfering with quests. Additional NPC issues will be fixed in future system updates. A-Life 2.0.
It caught my attention gameplay balance. The cost of artifacts has increased, allowing players to earn more money by selling them, and the cost of repairing weapons and armor is now lower. The cost of exoskeletons has also been increased and the weight of some story items, including scanners, has been reduced. It should no longer happen that you sell an item for significantly more than its value.
