Baldur’s Gate 3 will feature 12 subclasses and full cross-platform play

Larian Studios is preparing the latest major update for Baldur’s Gate 3. It will add a lot of new content to the popular and very successful RPG that players will be very pleased with. The problem is that it won’t be released until 2025.

The eighth patch will contain a lot of interesting things. And even if this is the last big update, they will be in Larian keep supporting mod creators. They have created over 3,000 mods that have been downloaded over 70 million times. Small updates will expand the ability of these content creators to create their own stories and adventures.

Crossplay: Cross-platform play, including Mac, with progress sharing support. Players will be able to create lobs and invite friends regardless of whether they play on PC, PlayStation or Xbox.

Photo mode: New Photo Mode lets you capture epic gaming moments, customize cameras, lighting, and add effects, including over 300 stickers, frames, and more.

12 new subclasses: Each playable class gets a new subclass that expands the options players have when creating their characters.

Each of the twelve classes will receive a new subclass that will add unique abilities and animations. Examples include for example:

Bard (College of Glamour)): Grants temporary health to allies and manipulates enemies with spells.

Ranger (Swarm Guardian): Summons deadly swarms (of jellyfish, moths, or bees) that can deal various types of damage and cause other effects such as teleportation.

Warlock (Hex Blade): He makes dark pacts, summons the dead, and casts destructive spells on his enemies.

Each subclass also adds new dialogue options and unique animations, enriching the overall gameplay experience.
