Legendary electronic musician deadmau5 this holiday season starts in the game World of Tanks Blitz. In collaboration with game studio Wargaming, we have created a unique combination of gaming experience and electronic music. A key element of this collaboration is the premiere of a new Deadmau5e track called Familiarwhich is accompanied by a special video and will be available on streaming platforms from November 29.
The collaboration officially began with the release of the official video for the new song. The video shows Deadmau5e, wearing his iconic helmet, escaping the reality of filming and piloting his remote controlled tank. Tank goes on a journey through the city, which, thanks to his intervention, turns from a gray routine into a bright, festive metropolis.
“World of Tanks Blitz has always been wild, bold and fearless” said Thane Lyman, general manager of the MS-1 studio at Wargaming. “This holiday season, we want to spice things up and offer players a new perspective on the holidays. Deadmau5 brings his fiery style and brings a whole new atmosphere to World of Tanks Blitz.”
The main game event will begin on December 2/December warm-up “pre-party” and will last until December 26. Players can look forward to brand new content inspired by Deadmau5 that combines music and tank battles. Rewards will include:
Mau5tank: a special remote-controlled tank equipped with speakers, lights and laser effects.
Masking flashing: Design inspired by Nyanborghini Purracan from Deadmau5.
Unique masks: Three designs featuring the iconic mau5head helmet.
Thematic missions: Two new Deadmau5e themed quests.
In addition to the above content, players will be able to obtain many other collectibles during the event.
World of Tanks Blitz is a free game available on PC, Android, iOS, macOS and Nintendo Switch.
