Valve surprised players last year when it offered players an elaborate anniversary update to the first game. Half life since 1998. Previously, the studio very often, to put it mildly, missed important dates. Meanwhile, in the previous months, hints began to appear in the bowels of Steam that those days had passed for some mysterious reason and that the legendary shooter would also receive a similar treatment. Half-life 2which these days celebrates its 20th anniversary. And indeed, Valve is going crazy and the second annual update in a row was released.
Probably the most fundamental change is including all Half-Life 2: Episode One content (2006)Half-Life 2: Episode Two (2007) and smaller free episodes of Half-Life 2: Lost Coast before the base Half-Life 2.. While both episodes can now be launched directly from the main menu, Lost Coast is hidden in bonuses along with new Steam Workshop support.
