In September we told you about a revived community initiative called Project Borealiswho applied for attention after several years of hiatus. This is a fan-made sequel to the Half-Life series, which follows the events of Half-Life 2: Episode Two.

From a story perspective, this addition should remain true unfinished third episodewhich Valve itself worked on in the past. If you’re interested in this interesting project, you might enjoy the recently released Prologue, which you can try for free on Steam.

However, developers from the Icebreaker Industries studio note that the game is ready for launch. must have the base version of Half-Life 2. The launch of the full version is apparently still a long way off.

In addition to the name Project Borealis, in connection with the second part of the Half-Life 2 series, RTX Remix deserves mention, which has been in the works for a long time, the authors of which published a new sample in collaboration with NVIDIA.
