The series returns to its roots.
Blizzard developers simultaneously announced and released a new limited time mode for Overwatch 2 called Classic, which could potentially attract especially fans of the first part. The classic game mode is built on its own rules and mechanics.
In practice this means return of classic 6v6 matchestwelve old cards and twenty-one heroes from the first volume with their original abilities and weapons. Overwatch: Classic is implemented directly into Overwatch 2, where you will find it as part of the arcade mode.
However, the developers note that, at least for now, this is a limited-time offer that it will only be available until December 2nd.. Thanks to the free-to-play model, Overwatch 2 is available for free on PC (Steam), as well as on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch.
