Slovak studio Centurion Developments surprised today with a press release announcing an early release date Forgotten but unbreakable. The turn-based tactical strategy game, set during World War II, did not have a simple development. Thanks to support from MicroProse, it may be released soon.
Forgotten but Unbroken will be released on November 18th this year. It’s still true that there will be in the game Czech dubbing and Czech subtitles.. Among other things, you can count on voice of Peter Rykhla. In the meantime, those who can’t wait can try the demo on Steam.
Development of Forgotten But Unbroken did not go as expected. Last year, Kickstarter failed to raise the required 80,000 euros. Instead, only 31,205 euros ended up in the account. Apparently, the pre-sale of the game and bonuses on the official website, including a physical collector’s edition for 499 euros, did not help either. The publisher had to save the situation. In an earlier statement, the developers warned that they would have to abandon some elements.
Forgotten But Unbroken is a unique take on the WWII turn-based strategy genre. The game was inspired by real stories and events and introduces new mechanics that have never been used before in this genre. Players can participate in defense missions, meet historical figures, and experience unique “micro-features that match reality.” Forgotten but Unbroken provides realistic and immersive gameplay, from special skills gained through equipment to missing magical healing. Elite enemy units, such as the fearsome SS units, were created to instill fear among players, affecting the ability to aim accurately and overall performance.” we will read in the official description.
