Microsoft hasn’t been holding back lately publishing selected exclusives on competing platforms led by the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch consoles. Thus, players received ports of Hi-Fi Rush, Sea of Thieves and Pentiment, which will be complemented by the PS5 version of Indiana Jones and Great Circle next spring.

The current leak suggests that the popular strategy series Age of Empires may eventually also be included in this group. In particular, attention was drawn to a mention on Reddit, where one of the users posted image from the game Age of Empires II: Definitive Editionwhich shows two team players connected via PlayStation.

So it’s possible that the port is currently already being tested, which could indicate that relatively early announcement and release. However, we will have to wait for official confirmation. Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition is currently available on PC (Steam), Xbox Series X/S and Xbox/PC Game Pass.
