About hunting monsters in the public beta Wild Monster Hunters there was a lot of interest over the weekend. Players praise the game, but also write negative reviews. So the developers cannot be completely satisfied. They still have a lot of work ahead.
On Steam alone, the Monster Hunter Wilds public beta at one point had over 463,000 players join the public beta. They were joined by players of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles. All three versions caused problems significant optimization problems and technical shortcomingsincluding annoying graphical errors. As a result, some character and monster models have been converted to a low-poly quality reminiscent of the PS1 era.
Capcom confirmed that the developers will spend the remaining four months on optimization. The full version will be in better condition than the beta version, the Japanese company promised. The beta version was intended to test various network system loads and technical elements. It is assumed that this is why so many problems occurred during the game.
Monster Hunter Wilds will be released on February 28, 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
