The traditionally busy October brought the release of several major games. First of all, attention was attracted by the new part of the Dragon Age series with the subtitle The Veilguard, which was supplemented by remakes of the games Silent Hill 2 and Until Dawn. Other games include JRPG Metaphor: ReFantazio from Atlus, a continuation of the NHL sports series from Electronic Arts, and the event Unknown 9: Awakening.

Looking at the November offering, it’s clear that we’ll have a surprisingly diverse selection of games to please fans of strategy, action, family games or even simulation games. The expectations of many players will undoubtedly be directed towards continuation of the STALKER series. with the subtitle “The Heart of Chernobyl”.

Other larger titles include the building strategy game Planet Coaster, the Nintendo exclusive Mario & Luigi: Brotherhood, the VR title Metro Awakening, or the adventure game. Lego Horizon Adventure. The already mentioned genre of simulators will then be represented by the games Farming Simulator 25 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

Planet Coaster 2

In the game you will become an ant, from whose point of view you will have to experience the colorful world of insects. The authors offer a combination of action and strategy, which in terms of setting and plot background is borrowed from the book of the same name by writer Bernard Werber.


Mario and Luigi: Brotherhood

Nintendo Switch players won’t be bored in November as they wait for the release of Mario & Luigi: Brotherhood. This is a colorful role-playing game starring Mario and Luigi, the development of which was taken over by developers from the Acquire studio after the closure of the AlphaDream team.

It has gained attention in recent years, especially with its two-part Octopath Traveler series. In Mario & Luigi: Brothership, you’ll travel the high seas on the Shipshape, which is a combination of a ship and an island. But as part of your journey you will also visit the mainland of the vast world of Concordia.


Metro Awakening

After a long time, a big virtual reality game will also be released at the beginning of the month. In particular, it will be a spin-off of the famous Metro series, which will be enjoyed exclusively by owners of PlayStation VR2 devices and competing PC headsets.

While the game’s creation was overseen by in-house writers at 4A Games, actual development was handled by the Vertigo Games team, which has a long history of VR gaming. The game, following the example of the standard parts, should focus mainly on a dense atmosphere, a dark world consisting of underground tunnels and exciting encounters with mutants and human enemies.


Farming Simulator 25

In November, simulation fans will see two ambitious games. The new Farming Simulator from the workshops of the Swiss studio Giants Software will be the first to tell about the interest of players.

Developers are primarily attracted by the large number of licensed agricultural equipment and the number of different crops that you can grow. There will also be livestock farming.

In various pre-release materials, the authors also highlighted three different maps that will take virtual farmers to Europe, America and Asia. According to the developers, it is on the Asian map that crops not yet represented in the series will be presented, led by rice.


Lego Horizon Adventure

Fans of PlayStation brands will also get a bigger game in November. Specifically, it will be Lego Horizon Adventures, which takes the famous Horizon series into the world of popular Lego.

The game was created in collaboration between Gobo and Guerrilla Games, who offer an easily accessible experience starring the famous Aloy. The game should also focus on a fun combat system and support for cooperation.


Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024

The second November simulator will take you to the clouds. Developers from the Asobo studio, who are also the authors of the A Plague Tale series, will bring to market the continuation of the Microsoft Flight Simulator series. Part numbered 2024 is a continuation of its predecessor from 2010, which was able to push the boundaries of graphics and general technical aspects of games in many directions.

In addition to an even more impressive audio-visual treatment, the authors call for more varied game content and a range of different aircraft that will also complement other means of transport such as helicopters, airships or hot air balloons.


STALKER 2: The Heart of Chernobyl

During the development of the new Stalker, the developers from the GSC Game World studio had to face a number of problems caused by the real military conflict in Ukraine and the subsequent transfer of the development team to Prague. However, in the second half of November, players should see the desired result after a long wait.

Since its announcement, the developers have been teasing an ambitious post-apocalyptic game that should surpass its predecessors in every important area. Microsoft is also placing a significant bet on the game, which decided to financially support its creation, thanks to which STALKER 2: The Heart of Chernobyl will be available on Game Pass on the day of release, in addition to PC and Xbox Series X/S.
