Next week, a VR spin-off of the Metro series subtitled Awakening will hit the market. Just ahead of launch, they came to us today via IGN magazine. 7-minute gameplay videothanks to which you can get a better understanding of the game.
The demo begins with a brief introduction to the environment and dialogue with a few characters, who, however, interrupts the attack of a series of typical mutants. In general, the gameplay footage attached below suggests that the series may not lose anything from its atmosphere and gameplay even with the transition to VR.
Let us remind you that the development is not carried out by the brand’s in-house authors from the 4A Games studio, but by Vertigo Games, a studio specializing in VR games, which in the past released, for example, two parts of the Arizona Sunshine brand. Metro Awakening will be released on November 7u for VR headsets PlayStation VR2, Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest 3 and PC/Steam VR.
