Surgent Studios looking for an investor for their next label title The Uso Project. The isometric role-playing game will take place in the world of Tales of Kenzera, which the developers presented in their debut. Tales of Kenzera: ZAU. It did well in the ratings but failed in sales. The team leader spoke about the news Abubakar Salim with the VGK magazine.

“It’s still set in the world of Tales of Kenzera, but it’s darker, grittier, and grittier. I would best describe it as a single-player isometric Afro-Gothic RPG,” he says.

Project Uso will change not only the setting, but also the genre of the game. This time it will be a real RPG in the style of Baldur’s Gate and similar series. “As avid Dungeons & Dragons players, we knew we wanted to create our own role-playing game system. To give Project Uso a sense of dynamism and real-time reality, we created a Crucible system in which players throw [kostkami] against each other.”

Getting funding for the project will be key for developers Surgent Studios. They are currently struggling and recently had to stop all work following the summer layoffs as a new wave of layoffs looms.
