While Remedy has always been known for its story-driven single-player games, a few years ago they began working on two co-op games. The project, with the working title Vanguard, which later changed to Kestrel, was finally realized. canceledwhich is probably good, because for some time it was created in collaboration with the Chinese Tencent. The second, independently appeared attempt, is still known to us under the name Condor. and which uses the world of Control from 2019, but the Finnish creators kept it. And so, at the end of the Xbox Partner Preview presentation, we were presented with it in full as a cooperative shooter for three players called FBK: Fiery Breakthrough.
FBC: We shouldn’t think of Firebreak as DLC for Control or as a direct sequel. After all, this has already been officially announced, although we will have to wait a while for Control 2. The Oldest House, the headquarters of the Federal Bureau of Control in New York, is in this case the setting of a multiplayer PvE spin-off in which up to three players team up as FBC agents to clear the Oldest House of supernatural hisses and other types of enemies with reckless weapons.
