Developers Star Citizen from the studio Cloud games Imperium Difficult moments await. They will work for more than two weeks without a single day off. This is stated in an email from management addressed to employees, which is available to Insider Gaming magazine. Studio is ordering overtime to complete Star Citizen patch and Squadron 42 single-player campaign demos for upcoming event CitizenCon.

The team management dictates a strict regime. On Friday, October 4th and October 11th, developers must be in the office, although this is usually a work-from-home day. Saturdays October 5th and 12th and Sunday October 6th will also be full working days at Cloud Imperium. On Sunday, October 13, employees have the option of a home office, but management recommends being present at the workplace.

The CitizenCon work marathon will conclude on the weekend of October 19 and 20. Next Monday, October 21st, developers will be given a day off.

Cloud Imperium Games has repeatedly been criticized for its approach to employees. In the summer, the studio had to compensate the discriminated developer, and at the beginning of the year, management’s behavior was discussed in connection with the team’s move from America to Manchester, England.
