Remember the legendary Neverwinter Nights.

When the third installment was released, many Baldur’s Gate fans complained that Baldur’s Gate 3 was not a true successor to the series due to the lack of real-time combat. If you’re one of those group of players who just don’t like the turn-based combat system, you can make your own taste. A modification has appeared that adds real-time battles. Although it is still in development, it already looks very attractive, as you can see for yourself in the attached demo of one of the first battles of the first act.

The encounter takes place in the ruins of a chapel and I must say that it looks perfect, although there is a certain amount of unfinishedness in the demo version. A number of players call the presented footage one of the reasons to return to the game again. The model for creating this modification was supposed to be the legendary TinyBike Neverwinter Nights for the author. If you want to add real-time combat to Baldur’s Gate 3 right now, there’s nothing stopping you, but keep in mind that the mod is still in development. The game itself can be found on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
