Some of them could try foreign magazines.

At the launch of the PS5 Pro, Sony also announced several games that would be enhanced for the new device, and added more games during the recent State of Play presentation. However, Mark Cerny hinted that there will be between 40 and 50 games on the full list, so we’re still missing a lot of games. But now the situation has changed: on the PlayStation Store, enhanced games have been labeled “PS5 Pro Enhanced”, and such games have been listed by Reddit user ZXXII.

Thanks to this, we know that the number of confirmed games with enhancements for PS5 Pro is currently 54 (if all games with this tag are found, and it should be added that the number of games will increase over time), but there are few full-fledged news, which will only be released after the console is released. In the list (in full at the end of the article) we will find various first-person games, such as both parts of the Horizon and The Last of Us series, games from Insomniac or remakes of Demon’s Souls and Until Dawn.

Third-party support will also be strong, with the list including several sports and racing games, as well as Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, two Resident Evil games and a number of popular multiplayer games. for example Warframe, War Thunder or Fortnite.

Select overseas magazines have already been able to try out some of the improved titles, including Digital Foundry’s Oliver Mackenzie. He’s particularly excited about the racing game F1 24, which on PS5 Pro features new RT occlusion and reflections that significantly improve the overall graphics. McKenzie calls it almost a generational leap.

Gran Turismo 7 will also get RT reflections, but the differences here are not as great and image quality is sacrificed because of this. By the way, both racing games will also offer 8K modes at 60 frames per second, in both cases the target resolution is achieved through upscaling. Codemasters chose their own Polyphony PSSR technology.

The improvement of Horizon Forbidden West also made a strong impression, adding its own upscaling (not PSSR) to the PS5 Pro, which solves many problems with image stability. According to McKenzie, HFW has the best image quality of any game he’s been able to try on the PS5 Pro, and overall looks better than the PS5’s quality mode, despite running at 60 frames per second. Additionally, it adds graphical enhancements to skin, hair, and clouds.

In terms of visuals, Dragon’s Dogma 2 was already somewhat less impressive, which, although it solves some problems with image quality, at the same time adds some others. On the other hand, McKenzie appreciates a much more stable frame rate, hovering above 50 FPS in cities, whereas on PS5 it hovered around 30-40 FPS.
