Driving School Will Become a New Mode in Popular Truck Simulators European Truck Simulator 2 And American Truck Simulator. Driving Academyas the mode will be called, will offer a series of scenarios designed to teach players how to drive and maneuver a truck in a fun and engaging way.
“We’re moving into new territory, inspired by years of feedback from players who have told us that our games have helped them understand the basics of truck driving. Many have used them to master truck and trailer driving, maneuvering, and reversing. With that in mind, we thought we’d take it a step further and introduce a series of challenges specifically designed to improve and expand on these skills.” the authors claim in a press release.
The driving academy covers the basics of truck driving, from the more advanced parts to complex parking maneuvers with detailed explanations. They will have scenarios increasing complexity and are inspired by real-life scenarios. Players can replay everything to learn from their mistakes and analyze their ride. And so they need to figure out where they made a mistake when reversing longitudinally, why they ended up in the center of a roundabout, how they got off to a good start, etc.
If there is interest in the scenarios, they plan to gradually expand the Driving Academy at the SCS Software studio in Prague. special tasksthat truck drivers may encounter on the road in real traffic.
Driving Academy will be part of the upcoming update version 1.52. So it will be free for all owners of Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. Both games are available on PC with Czech subtitles. You can see some of the scenarios in the gallery.
