A player has achieved the impossible in Diablo IV by dealing “infinite damage” with his attack.

Diablo 4 presents players with a number of challenges throughout their journey. Most of them have already been overcome by the community, but there was still one that seemed insurmountable. That goal was to reach a level of damage that the game couldn’t represent with a number. But now it’s finally been done. Influencer Rob2628 has surpassed that goal with his Barbarian. The main reason he was able to do so seems to be that his build is buggy, which became apparent when he took so much damage that the game stopped counting it.

His main tool was the enhanced ability of his spikes, which deal damage back to those who try to destroy him. The instances are tough to start with, but once you get going, there’s hardly anyone who survives, as Rob2628 demonstrates in his run through the hardest dungeon available. Apparently, this damage was possible mainly because this was a test version of the game, so it’s unlikely that the community will see this madness again next month when the Vessel of Hatred expansion hits PC, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles.
