This is not an unattainable value for Warhorse.

At the end of May, producer Martin Klima from Warhorse studio told the Game Access conference in Brno that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 on consoles will run at 30 frames per second. He also said that PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X players will be able to enjoy the game in 4K resolution at that frame rate. Xbox Series S owners will then have to settle for 1440p. Everything pointed to the console’s developers aiming for 30 frames per second from the start.

In a recently published interview for Wccftech magazine, Klima said that for developers even 60 frames per second is unachievable. So it’s possible that the studio, by pushing optimization, has found ways to run the game on consoles at a higher frame rate than the aforementioned 30 fps. However, it’s unclear at this point whether players can expect higher frame rates at launch or as an update at some point in the future.

An important factor in this regard may also be the launch of the more powerful PlayStation 5 Pro console, which will be available in early November. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will be released on February 11th on PC (Steam) and PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
