Fans of the Farming Simulator series already know what new crops they can expect. After rice and spinach, developers from Giants Software are revealing two more new crops. Virtual farmers will be able to grow only 25 different cultures.
“Different types of trees and vegetables in greenhouses will add even more agricultural diversity, and the number of crops, true to the game’s name, is random,” the publishing and development company notes.

They take four months to mature, and you’ll use specialist harvesting equipment to harvest them after applying the usual yield-boosting measures. The creators claim that thanks to the new details they rice And spinach even more attractive to farmers who don’t shy away from crops that require special attention: rice and long-grain rice are considered two crops with unique requirements for water use and equipment for planting and harvesting. Both are grown in paddy fields that are deepened to retain water. Spinach is not for farmers who like to sleep in: the leafy crop can be harvested twice a season after being planted once – if farmers hurry. They also have to hurry after harvesting because the crop can’t be stored and must be sold immediately before it dries out.
