Annoying and frustrating. These are the two words that players use when addressing penalties in Star Wars Criminals. Development lead Julian Gerighty is aware of the criticism and confirms that they are working on tweaking the mechanic.
The problem lies in the punishment that awaits the main character Kay after she is caught in enemy territory in hidden passages. In this case, Kay is kicked out of the gate and the player is forced to start the quest from the beginning, regardless of how far they have progressed in the mission. Criticism is especially aimed at the tasks at the beginning of the story.
The goal of the developers is to make this experience as to make it much more fun and understandable. Players should enjoy the game and not suffer. But the question is how the creators will cope with this.
It must end too. fix other blockersthat interfere with players’ enjoyment of the game. Among them are reports from city radio stations. In the future, they should better fit into the story and be in the context of what is happening right now.
