The new PlayStation exclusive is enjoying incredible success.
Today, PlayStation 5 players were delighted with the release of another big exclusive called Astro Bot. The game from Japanese studio Team Asobi, with its ambitions and scope, is significantly surpasses previous parts in the form of an Astro Bot rescue mission and Astro’s playroom.
The result is rave reviews, with journalists often seeking absolute scores. The game’s current reception is well illustrated by the aggregator Metacritic, which currently has 112 reviews featuring average score 94%.
No other game released this year has achieved such a high number. The first place is still Final Fantasy VII Rebirth took place with a rating of 92%. The only video game project to beat Astro Bot this year is the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion for Elden Ring, which has a rating of 95%.
