UFL postponed, EA Sports FC will have to wait for the competition

Developers from the Cyprus-based studio Strikerz have announced that the release of their upcoming football game UFL has been delayed. The game was originally supposed to be released on September 12, two weeks before the launch of the new edition of the EA Sports FC series from Electronic Arts, which has dominated the football sports game genre in recent years. The new term was scheduled for December 5thwhen the game will be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.

The authors cited efforts to further optimize and fine-tune certain mechanics as the main reason for the delay. In particular, it was supposed to make a significant contribution to the final solution. Reviews from the players themselveswhich the studio received during closed and open beta testing.

UFL will be be based on the free-to-play modelwhich will allow more players to easily access the game. At the moment, the developers are not talking about a possible release of the game on PC, as they are currently focused only on consoles.
