The developers reveal the appearance of the game world.
Studio Gearbox software released during the ongoing PAX West show. first four works from the upcoming fourth installment of the Borderlands series, officially unveiled at Gamescom in late August. The art primarily describes the look of the game world and select locations that players will be able to visit.
The developers followed the example of the previous parts They are betting on a post-apocalyptic worldwhich, due to its future setting, also works with science fiction elements. The images attached below also show that we can expect a more diverse set of locations this time around.
The authors themselves call for expedition to an unvisited planet and the most complex graphics in the series. However, we still have to wait for more information and materials, including a release date and gameplay footage.
